Cookie Policy.

Which cookies this site uses, what each one does and how to turn off the ones you don't want. Cookies for statistics and ads are used only if you say yes.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small notes a website leaves in your browser so it can remember something between pages or visits, such as the language you picked. Some cookies come from other companies whose tools the site uses, like Google or Facebook. In this policy “cookies” also covers similar tools that work the same way.

2. Who is responsible

This site is run by Brandon Kesler, doing business as CABOONE Luxury Real Estate (“CABOONE”, “we”, “us”). Our Privacy Policy explains who we are and how we handle your personal information in general. This page is about cookies only.

3. Cookies the site needs to work

These are always on, because without them parts of the site wouldn't work. They don't follow you to other websites and aren't used for ads.

Form protectionMakes sure a form you send really came from you on this site, and not from someone pretending to be you. Deleted when you close your browser.

LanguageRemembers whether you chose English or Spanish, so the next pages open in that language. Kept for 12 months.

Your cookie choiceRemembers whether you said yes or no to statistics and ad cookies, so we don't ask you on every page. Kept for 12 months.

Team sign-inUsed only when someone from Brandon's team signs in to manage the site. Visitors never get it.

4. Spam protection by Google

Pages with a contact form use a free Google service called reCAPTCHA to tell real people from spam robots. To do that, Google may save its own cookies and look at basic information about your device and browser, such as your internet address and how you move around the page. We use it only to keep spam and abuse out.

5. Statistics and ads (only if you say yes)

When you first visit, a message at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept these cookies. Nothing from Google Analytics or Facebook is loaded until you click “Accept”. If you click “Decline”, they stay off and the site works exactly the same. People from our team who are signed in are never counted.

Google AnalyticsCounts visits and shows us which pages and homes people look at, and how often someone taps to WhatsApp, call or email us. It helps us improve the site. Kept for up to 2 years.

Facebook and Instagram adsA tool from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It tells Meta when a visit, a tap to contact us or a sent form came from one of our ads, so we can see which ads work and show them again to people who already visited. Kept for up to 3 months.

We never give Google or Meta your name, phone number or email.

6. Other websites

This site has links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Nothing from them is loaded until you click a link. Once you're on their site, their own rules apply. The maps on the contact page and on property pages come from OpenStreetMap and load when you scroll to them, so OpenStreetMap sees your internet address; its Privacy Policy applies. The lettering (fonts) on this site comes from Google, which sees your internet address when the page loads but doesn't save cookies for it.

7. How to change your choice

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings:

Google and Facebook also let you control ads and statistics on their side: turn off Google Analytics in your browser, and change your ad settings on Facebook and Google. Their own explanations: Google and Meta.
